Cynthia Wong Siu graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor in Social Science Degree and from the University of British Columbia with a Master of Arts Degree.  Mrs Siu joined the Administrative Service of Hong Kong in 1995 and has served in positions including Administrative Officer in the Home Affairs Department, Assistant Secretary for Constitutional Affairs and Assistant Secretary for Security.

Mrs Siu started learning the piano and began singing in choirs at a tender age.  She knows the profound effect of music education on the nurturing of young people.  In recent years, she has been committed to providing opportunities for young people to receive musical instrument education.
