一個香港學生對本年12月MOY訪問新加坡的意見

學生的意見:

This is the most meaningful, fabulous and fantastic trip ive ever had. It is so good to hv all enthusiastic musician join tgt to play music from their HEART! I am sure all of them learnt a lot after this music tour.

As a percussionist, I was truly wowed by all the Singaporean and Malaysian percussionists. They are amazing, no matter their techniques or the way they performed. We really felt ashamed when we saw their performance. Mr Siu is right, they don't have any tutors, what they hv are old boys or old girls. The seniors teach the juniors. But, their music is awesome, is flawless. And the percussion from BPS, had sworn to work hard on our skills. We all made a promise to ourselves-IMPROVE! And we have to admit that we love percussion more after this exchange!

As a representative of BPSCO, I firmly believe we all achieve the aim of this tour - exchange in terms of MUSIC. I am sure all of us enjoyed this tour very much. Though the preparation work of the tour is hard, I am so glad to see the exchange tour came to a successful end. And I also want to thanks Tina for helping me. I know my Mandarin is not good enough to give a vote of thanks, but I still need to thanks our honourable Mr Siu for giving me a chance to learn what a leader should be. Lastly, I really appreciate Mr Siu, MOY’s tutors, students from OSSCO and Kluang, Ms Mak, Mr Cheng, Ms Ho and Mr Jones for taking care of every CO members. We all had a great time in Singapore and Malaysia.

For myself, the relations with other friends are a lot closer after the trip. And we even made some new friends. At first, I did regret for being the coordinator of BPSCO as the school work are extremely hard and I can’t really strike a balance between orchestra, my eca and my study. But, I didn’t feel this way anymore. What i am trying to express is, if i didn't join this tour, i would never learn this much. Next year I will become a S7 girl and will be busying with the AL public exam, so I might not be able to make a time for orchestra. But, I still hope I will get a chance to join music tour like this again and listen more others music!

Thank you, Sally.

The MOY is proud of you, and your Orchestra members. You did well. We hope you can keep in touch with your Singaporean and Malaysian friends. They will come to Hong Kong in November 2010.

I wish you success in your examinations. Keep playing, and come and join the MOY Chinese Orchestra afterwards to keep up you association with music. We’ll let you know when and where we practice. One day, you will become one of our instructors, and you will lead our tours, again and again.
