"Happy New Year! I watched your interview in the 今日VIP program broadcasted in Toronto and really admire the work you are doing for the children in Hongkong as well as some other Asian cities. Keep up with this wonderful task! I personally believe that music plays a very important role in a child's development. I was born and raised in Hongkong but am now living in Toronto. When I was young, I had always dreamed of learning to play piano but my family financial situation did not allow me to do so. I finally pursued this dream when I became financially independent. Wish your program can benefit all children from different walks of life. Children should be provided opportunities to develop their full potential but not limited becasue their parents could not afford."

At times, in the face of the many hurdles we have had to jump, I must confess that I had my doubts whether the goals of the MOY are too high to be achievable by a charity organisation with no government backing or funding.

Well, we soldiered on.

Two things kept us going.

First, reactions and moral support from people like you, people who are half the world away, and are nevertheless right here with us, in spirit.

Second, the progress made by the students we train.

My colleagues and I in the MOY will try our best.
